Telling Your Rotary Story Effectively!
Since 2011, Rotary has embarked on a multiyear initiative to strengthen the brand image in order to motivate engage and inspire members, partners and the community at large and partners. Rotarians as ambassadors of the Rotary brand need to be aligned with Rotary brand and identity guidelines and communicate our Rotary story effectively through various media platforms, particularly social media.
This 3 hour workshop will help Rotarians to develop skills in communicating the Rotary story. Rotarians will better utilise tools that has been provided by Rotary International through Rotary Brand Center, develop a public relations campaign to engage with the press for media coverage. Create compelling content stories of service projects on social media and strategise ways to reach out to a broader audience.
Who should attend and pre-requisites
Course conducted in English should be attended by Rotarians in clubs who are committed in promoting Rotary, particularly Club Presidents, President Elects, Public Image and Service directors. Learners should be expected to log on to MyRotary and bring their laptop and mobile devices to class.
